Epsylon Point
Born in 1950 in France, Epsylon Point is one of the first French urban color stencil artists, being active in the street art movement since the early 1970s. He has worked in graffiti, painting, performance, and photography, but today is best known for his stencils dealing with social and political issues.
In 1978 he graduated from the National School of Fine Arts in Dijon, France, and since has participated in several collective shows in Europe. In 1985, Epsylon participated in the first ever gathering of the graffiti and urban art movement in Bondy, on the initiative of Vive La Peinture with other esteemed street artists such as Miss Tic, Blek le Rat, SP 38, Jef, Speedy-Graphito, Futura 2000, and more. Epsylon’s work has influenced many stencil artists, and his reputation has solidified his position as a living legend in the street art community in France.
